Wayne Davies (Dog Trainer and Behaviourist)

I have lived in Bristol all my life and have been working with dogs for the past 5 years. I have a Diploma in Canine Behaviour which I have used to help run my own dog behaviour and training business part time for the past 18 months, I have met many challenges along the way but all have had a happy ending I am proud to say. Me and my wife have a 5 year old German Shepherd and a 6 year old rescue Chocolate Lab which we like to take out on long walks after work and on weekends to unwind and relax, I also keep Koi carp and other pond fish in our large garden pond.

I also work as a volunteer working for 2 rescue organisations which helps to re home Siberian huskies and Northern Inuit’s that have come into care through no fault of there own. I am very passionate about animal welfare and the behaviour of animals and will always do what I can to make an animal feel loved.

I always stay in contact with the people I have helped over the years to ensure a good honest relationship and great customer service.

Hannah Bishop

As a child we always had a dog or 3 that were worked as well as being pets. I started working at the local boarding kennels & cattery at 10 years old, holidays & weekends ....From there I got a job as top kennel hand at a local racing Greyhound kennels. I did my canine studies small animal certificate & gained a credit pass. I eventually ended up working 8 years at Huntinford boarding kennels again until I moved away. I have 8 dogs myself who race for fun, show & lure course, having now bred & own the three generations.

Calpurnia Fox

An animal lover since I was born, I have owned dogs and cats throughout my life, specialising in rescue cases and including English Bull Terriers, lurchers, and Springer Spaniels. I have always been a passionate advocate for animal rights and their welfare and this underpins the principals of all my animal interactions.

I have worked as a pony trekking instructor, a kennel maid and a dog trainer in the North East of England, provided assistance to the RSPCA with dog behavioural problems, and was a volunteer at my local dog shelter their too. Since then I have lived in Cardiff where I gained an undergraduate degree and Masters degree in Linguistics, and have since worked as a manager for the NHS for the last 5 years. After moving to Bristol I decided to leave the public sector and have become an active volunteer for the Bristol and Wales Cat Rescue charity.

I currently own 3 cats including a maine coon, and in my volunteer role am a foster carer for the Bristol and Wales Cat Rescue charity so there’s always another cat running around somewhere!

Working for Bristol Pet Sitters I cover the Bradley Stoke, Winterbourne, Frampton Cotterell, Yate, and Thornbury areas. If you are near these areas but I have not mentioned your village, please do get in contact as I may also be able to cover your location.
